Born on July 15, 1931 in Pinewood, Ont., he was one of 13 children of Lorne and Mary Caul.
Wilfred married Lois Cooke on Aug. 10, 1956 and had one son, Keith.

He also is survived by his brother, Austin Caul (Bev) and sister, May Marsh; as well as sister-in-law, Faye Davis, and brother-in-law, Dave Cooke (Clareen).
He was predeceased by his father and mother; six brothers, Clarence, Roy, Kenneth, Milton, Mervyn, and Ray; and four sisters, Myrtle, Lena, Lorna, and Hazel.
Wilfred worked for the Department of Highways for 32 years, but his true passion was farming. Even after Wilfred retired, he continued to farm until he became ill in the fall of 2016.
