It is with great sorrow the family of Wayne (Francis) Herbert announce his passing, with his loving family by his side, on July 16, 2016, at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
Wayne was born on October 19, 1942, to Gladys and George Herbert in Fort Frances, Ontario.
He is survived by “the boys” Brock (Char) and Ray (Janet); his grandchildren Joel, Danielle, Kennadi and Jacob; as well as four great-grandchildren.
Wayne is survived by brothers Winston (Bernie) John (Cookie) and sister Diane (Brad); and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife Gwen; oldest son Brad; and his “baby girl” Angela.
Wayne was a very avid Lakers hockey fan and so in his memory, donations may be made to the Fort Frances Lakers Hockey team.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
