Wayne Edward Blasky

Mr. Wayne Edward Blasky passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. at the age of 51.
He was born Oct. 27, 1951 in Fort Frances and lived here all his life.
On June 3, 1988, he was united in marriage to Patricia Marie McInnis and they resided at 808 Crowe Ave. in Fort Frances.
Wayne leaves behind his wife, Patricia Marie McInnis; mother, Blanche Blasky; brother, Gary (Felix) Blasky; nephew, Kael and niece, Rylee Blasky; aunt, Teena Woyden of Eagle Bridge, N.Y.; father- and mother in-law, Jim (Daisy) McInnis of Fort Frances; sister in-law, Linda McInnis of Upsala; nephew, Trevor Kruger of California; niece, Christina (Gerald) Harris; and great-nieces, Mikayla and Madison of Toronto.
He also is survived by special Uncle Stan and Aunty Marg; and cousins, Chris and Tracy Blasky of Fort Frances. Also survived by so very many other family and special fiends.
Wayne was predeceased by his father, Edward Blasky; grandparents, Stanley and Mary Blasky, and John and Eva Prymak; uncle, Walter Prymak; and infant great-nephew, Joshua Harris.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at Green Funeral Home, with Pastor Sandy McEvoy officiating.
A lunch will be served at the Joy of Life Fellowship at 714 Armit Ave. at noon.
Honourary pallbearers are Vince Godbout, Ron Tucker, Russel Paterson, Randy McArthur, Mike Yuill, Norman Shute, and Gerry Polz.
A special thank you to Dr. Barry Anderson, and Dr. Coholic, all the very wonderful nursing staff on the St. Andrew’s floor, and also the kitchen staff for all the coffee and muffins.
Wayne loved life to the fullest and loved to fish, hunt, go camping, and socializing with his family and friends. He especially loved his cat, Cimba.
