VIVIAN MARIE COLE (HYATT)

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Vivian Marie Cole announces her peaceful passing on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre in Dryden, Ontario. She was 85 years old.
She proudly raised and supported her three daughters, Glenda Belluz (Jim), Sheila Medwechuk (Jack), and Judy Baker (Jerry). She loved the quality time she shared with her girls.
Vivian lived a life full of family and friendship. She worked hard throughout the years in a variety of jobs. She demonstrated her tremendous work ethic at St. Regis Bag Factory, the Thunderbird restaurant, tree nursery, the Dryden Grey Hound Bus Depot and the Dryden Mill Finishing Room; she worked at the Dryden Regional Health Centre as a Dietary Aid until health concerns resulted in her retirement.
She spent the last 25 years living at 10 Victoria Street and had many fond memories of the people she shared her life with. She was the founder of the coffee club at 10 Victoria and loved cruising along the Dryden waterfront as she enjoyed the wildlife she encountered along the way.
Vivian did not ask for much in life. She valued the simple pleasures of blueberry picking, camping, traveling with friends, visiting with family, spending time at Amesdale, baseball, bowling, Yahtzee, the melodies from her chimes and the beauty of her hummingbirds.
Vivian was an integral part of a large Hyatt family. She was predeceased by her parents, Noble and Annie Hyatt; newborn daughter, Heather; brothers, Jack, Angus, George and Joe Hyatt; sisters, Euince Booth, Eileen Strachan, and Joyce Walton; and her former husband, Gordon (Spike) Cole.
She leaves behind her siblings, Shirley Mills, Fred Hyatt (Evelyn), Grace Nielson (Keith) and Silvia Beadle, along with her many nieces and nephews.
She had the joy of seeing her family grow. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and their families, including Kim and Scott Clendenning and their children Halley, Calie, Jenna and Jake; Brad Belluz and daughter, Jade; Travis Belluz and children, Olivia and Hunter; Michael Medwechuk and Caleigh Belair and daughters, Cloe, Danica and Julia; Michelle and Scott Mosbeck and children, Austin, Jack and Kate; Mark and Peggy Medwechuk and children, Skylar, Landon and Logan; Brent Baker and Halle Reid; and Todd and Megan Baker and sons, Toltin and Barett.
Her honorary pallbearers will be her eight grandchildren, Kim Clendenning, Brad Belluz, Travis Belluz, Michael Medwechuk, Michelle Mosbeck, Mark Medwechuk, Brent Baker, and Todd Baker.
A memorial funeral service to celebrate the life of Vivian Cole was held Thursday, Aug. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion, Dryden with Chaplain Jim Shearer officiating. Interment of ashes followed in the Amesdale Cemetery.
