VIOLET ANDERSON

Violet Anderson, 77, of Flasher, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006 at her home.
At Violet’s request, her body is being donated to the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. There will be no services.
Violet Tilley was born April 15, 1929 in High Prairie, Alta., the daughter of Jim and Eva (Ronquist) Tilley. She married Wesley Anderson on July 17, 1963.
They made their home in Canada and the U.S, living in International Falls, Mn. and Albany, Ore. before moving to Flasher in September, 2005.
Vi loved the outdoors, fishing, and just being near water. She also was very creative with crafts and embroidery. She often wrote poetry, made up stories, and sang songs that her children will always remember.
Vi is survived by her husband, Wes, of Flasher; her daughters and sons-in-law, Trudy and Joe Scholz of Bemidji, Mn., Terri and Harold Espe of Ogama, Mn., and Joanne and Sid Darrah of Barwick, Ont.; her sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley Jr. and Tammie of Fairchild, Wis., Mark of Augusta, Wis., and John and Michele of Albany, Ore.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her sisters and brothers-in-law, Hermina and Mel Fletcher and Fay and Ed Turner; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence and Elsie Tilley, Jim and Valerie Tilley, and Pete and Marilyn Tilley.
She was predeceased by her parents; and her brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Kathy Tilley.
