It is with the deepest sorrow and heartbreak we announce the passing of our son, brother, grandson, cousin and best friend.
Treydon, also known as ‘Trey” and Malachi (by his mom) was a vivacious and curious boy from the time he walked. He loved going to McDonald’s on the weekends with his pops “Gagné” for fwies as Treydon called them. He loved looking out the living room window for his “Nan” to pick him up for a visit and visits with his grandma Debbie.
Treydon grew up in Fort Frances, Ontario most of his life. He grew into a handsome, caring, loving, enthusiastic young man. Treydon loved to spend countless days at Ash River with his “Gramps” Jack and Grandma Marla.
Endless fishing, canoeing, and outside adventures were his passion. Treydon had a natural talent for tinkering and a love for welding he developed during his bonding with his Grampa Jack.
Treydon or “Trey” to his friends loved spending time with his mom and dad engaging in conversations about fishing, trucks, snow machines and all his plans for the future. He would talk with passion for hours. He loved spending hours in the kitchen with his dad Ian cooking. It was his passion. Time with family and friends was Treydon’s heart, he spoke so often about his uncles Lee, Ash and Dylan.
Trey will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Cora Gagné (Ian Budd); his father Jason Thomson (Tara Kennedy); his siblings Ashtyn Thomson, Tyson Parisien, Seth Parisien, Caleb Thomson, Carter Parisien, Kira Thomson, Brynlee Budd and Aaden Budd. He is also survived by his grandparents Bernard Gagné and Claudine Wells, Debbie Romyn (Dale Westover), Marla Thomson (Late Jack Thomson), Bernie and Dianne Budd; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
A private family gathering will take place in Trey’s memory. Arrangements entrusted to Northridge Funeral Home Ltd.
Psalm 139:1-16
O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.
Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[a]
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
