Tracy Thomas Joseph Spencer, 53, of 477 Hill Rd., R.R. #1, Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Man.
He was born June 17, 1944 on Calumet Island, Que. to George and Kathleen Spencer.
Tracy enjoyed fishing and hunting, and having coffee with his friends, and was always helping others. He also loved his rock work and his flowers. He was a very gifted and loving person. His biggest thing in life, however, was his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Rolene, and his son, Travis, of Fort Frances, and his father, George, of Salmon Arm, B.C.
Also surviving are seven brothers, Marvin, Terry, David, Ronnie, Roger, George Jr., and Wayne, and six sisters, Aloma, Donna, Shirley, Audrey, Brenda, and Wanda, and their families; sisters-in-law, Patricia Venne and Janet Williams, and brother-in-law, Archie Hogan, and their families; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nephews; as well as a multitude of cousins, two aunts, and one uncle.
He was predeceased by an infant son, Trevor; his mother, Kathleen; and both his father and mother-in-law.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997 at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home with Father Don McLeod O.M.I. officiating.
Cremation took place in Winnipeg, Man.
Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Frances.
Honourary pallbearers will be Don Venne, Warren Williams, Archie Hogan, Ernie bird, Mel Watson, Phillip Bourre, and his brothers, Marvin, Terry, David, Ronnie, Roger, George, and Wayne.
Tracy also gave hope to several other people through the organ donor program program. Gone but never forgotten!
