Tracy Ann Zub, of 145 Hudson Dr., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away quietly at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Man. on Aug. 13, 2000, with friends and family at her side.
She was born Dec. 14, 1957.
Throughout her lengthy illness, Tracy retained her loving nature, and touched the hearts of the many who cared for her at both the McKellar Hospital in Thunder Bay and the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.
Tracy was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, John and Katerina Zub; her maternal grandparents, Carl and Muriel Thesenvitz; uncles, Alex and Mike Zub, and Bill Galandzy; and aunts, Netty Galandzy and Sally Zub.
Tracy is missed by her parents, Roy and Joyce Zub of Fort Frances; brothers, Doug Zub (Kim) of Fort Frances, David Zub (Susan) of Coldwater, Ont., and Howard Zub (Betsy) of Fort Frances; and nieces and nephews, Tiffany Zub, Serene Zub, Anya Zub, Johnathan Zub, Carmen Zub, Carly Zub, and Cole Schierer.
Also surviving are uncles, Edward Zub (Jean) of Fort Frances, Harry Zub of International Falls, Mn., Dayton Thesenvitz (Doris) of Lacombe, Alta., and Garry Thesenvitz (Mary) of Red Lake; aunts, Katherine Zub of Fort Frances, Elly Zub of Fort Frances, Jean Pollard (Bob) of Fort Frances, Hazel Strain (Walter) of Nestor Falls, and Lorraine Ponse (John) of Gold River, B.C.; numerous cousins; and her many special friends at the Fort Frances and District Association for Community Living.
Pallbearers will be Laureen Vandetti, Kim LePine, Terri Perron, Terry Duffy, Patricia Osmar-Hartlin, and Fawn Dustin.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 18, 2000 at 9 a.m. at Knox United Church in Fort Frances, followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., with Rev. Patrick Playfair officiating.
Interment will be held at the Pineridge Cemetery in North Branch, Ont. at 2 p.m.
