It is with great sadness that the family of Tina (Juanita) Wilson announces her passing on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016.
Tina was born Sept. 28, 1956 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Clifford and Amelia Bruyere. She was one of 13 children and was raised in Couchiching First Nation.
Tina was a Jill-of-all-trades, and worked for various businesses in Fort Frances and Couchiching. She lived a quiet life and enjoyed spending time at the cabin.
She loved to knit, crochet, and do beadwork when the weather was poor. On nice days, she enjoyed long walks and boat rides.
She loved her family dearly, keeping them all close in her heart. She was a healer, by nature, and a good friend. She would lend a hand or sit and listen to anyone who needed to talk.
Her pets were second children to her.
Tina also could never go pass a yard sale without stopping; she collected treasures throughout the years, sending care packages to the grandchildren regularly.
Tina is survived by her spouse, Michael; their children, Melissa, Michael Jr. (Amanda), and Tammy (Drew); and grandchildren, Tristan, Koulton, Ryder, Eric, Haley, Benjamin, Sophie, Kyla, and Miles.
She also is survived by her siblings, Russell, MaryLou (Terry), Sharon (Murray), Pauline (Greg), Laura (David), Delray (Cindy), Kevin, Holly, and Guy; as well as nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
Tina was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Amelia; siblings, James Keith, Glenn, and Leslie; sister-in-law, Alice; and nephews, Craig, Nathan, Timothy, and Logan.
A celebration of Tina’s life will be held Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. at the Couchiching multi-use facility.
If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association c/o Green Funeral Home, P.O. Box 427, Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3M8.
