TIMOTHY GORDON LYONS

Mr. Timothy Gordon Lyons passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003 at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital (McKellar Site) in Thunder Bay, Ont.
Timothy was born in Fort Frances, Ont. on Oct. 29, 1936 to Timothy and Rose Lyons. He married Florence Janet Bartush on Nov. 15, 1958. They moved to Thunder Bay in 1959 to raise their two daughters, Cathie Marie and Corrie Adele.
He managed the Simpson Sears Service Station before going to work at Loblaws and then later to A & P, until he retired in 1996.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Florence; daughters, Cathie and Gary Tripp and Corrie and Kane Scott; and precious granddaughter, Samantha. He also is survived by siblings, Shirley Stuart, Richard Lyons, and Carole Wilde; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Timothy and Rose; sister, Marie; and brothers, William and Wayne.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Timothy Gordon Lyons will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 S. Syndicate Ave., Thunder Bay, with Rev. Don Uhryniw officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
