Sadly, the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of Tom Judson, of Emo, Ont., on Wednesday, May 5, 2010.
Tom was born and raised in Emo, and was the third child to Linton and Marion Judson.
Tom married Wendy Moore on Aug. 29, 1964 and they celebrated many happy years together.
Tom is survived by his wife, Wendy, and his three children, Joanne, Jonathon (Londa), and Lisa; and his Goddson, Dean Martin.
He also is survived by his “true loves,” his grandchildren, Shannon (T.J.), Johnathon, Caleb, Teare, Keighnyn, Zachary, Seth, and Hope; and his great-grandchildren, Dominic and Ava.
Tom also leaves behind his loving brothers and sisters, Bob (Alice), Jim (Arlene), Della (Mark), Lynda (Stu), Betty (Keith), and Joe (Gail) and their children.
Tom had many accomplishments during his incredible 50 years of business, and yet to him his greatest accomplishment was his children.
Tom spent countless hours and many years improving communities in Northwestern Ontario, and gave generously to several charities.
Tom fought Parkinson’s Disease and after a valiant effort, lost his toughest battle ever.
Tom will be greatly missed, and will be forever in our hearts.
As per Tom’s wishes, a private family ceremony was held Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo.

A celebration of Tom’s life will take place Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Kitchen Creek Golf Course from 1-5:30 p.m. All friends and family are welcome to come together and celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Salvation Army c/o Northridge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 89, Emo, Ont., P0W 1E0.
Tom always said “Everybody deserves a hot meal.”
