THOMAS (TOM) ALEXANDER CONNON

On Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, Dad passed away peacefully, with family by his side, to join his wife, Pearl, who predeceased him on Oct. 14, 2003.
He was born May 27, 1928 in Winnipeg, Man.
He is survived by his daughters, Val Marie, Debbi (Rod), and Terri (Kevin); son, Darren; five grandchildren, Shawn (Juanita), Alexandria (Jordan), Jaimie, Ryan, and Brandon; and great-grandson, Jakob.
He was dearly loved by his faithful companion, Carrington; two sisters, Margaret and Hazel (Len); and sister-in-law, Irene.
He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Pearl; his parents, Jean and Thomas Connon; and six brothers and two sisters.
Those who knew Dad appreciated his fantastic sense of humour and quick wit.
Dad was a linesman in B.C., an electrician, and also drove taxi for many years before retiring.
To many, he was known as “Stompin’ Tom,” and loved to make people laugh. He left a lasting impression with many, and he will be missed dearly.
There will be no service as per his wishes.
A come-and-go tea was held at his home on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010.
Dad, we know you are with Mom now and the two of you will continue your journey together.
We love you and will miss you always.
