THOMAS EARL (MICK) GEARY

Peacefully, on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 at Rainycrest Long Term Care in Fort Frances, Ont., T. Earl (Mick) Geary entered into rest at the age of 79.
Mick was born Aug. 18, 1929 in Carpenter Township, Ont. to the late Thomas and Susan Geary. He lived most of his life in Fort Frances, and was employed by the Board of Education as a custodian, retiring in 1994.
Ill health made it necessary for Mick to move to Rainycrest five years ago.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doreen, in 1999.
Mick was a valued member of Manitou Lodge #631 AF&AM.
Mick is survived by brothers, Hugh of Fort Frances, Ont., and Jack and Ed (Linda) of Kenora, Ont.; sisters, Nellie (Lawrence) Derouard of Kenora, Ont., Jean Geary of Winnipeg, Man., and May Swartman and Elsie Ball of Fort Frances, Ont.; brother-in-law, Harold Wilson of Kenora, Ont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He also was predeceased by his sisters, Pansy Geary (1947) and Susan Wilson (2003); sisters-in-law, Helen Geary (2007) and Hilda Geary; and brother-in-law, Donald Ball.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont., where funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Barb Miller officiating.
Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
The pallbearers will be Aron Geary, Lawrence Derouard, Albert Derouard, Glenn Derouard, Rick Ball, and Chad Hughes.
