TERRANCE ‘TERRY’ ROY WOOD

With his family by his side, Terry Wood, 63, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
Terry was born April 13, 1953 to the late Roy Albert Wood and Gertrude Mary (Fisher).
Terry started his life with Mary Adele (Murray) on Sept. 28, 1991. Together they raised and adored four children, Jonathan Edward (Ashley), Keira Rayne Starr, Joshua Aaron, and James Mark (Trisha), and grandchild, Arianna.
Terry was an amazing father, devoted husband, loyal friend, and a kind and supportive father figure to many throughout his life. He always could be counted on to bring a smile and laughter with his incredible sense of humour.
He was a talented craftsman, creating many cherished rocking horses and one-of-a-kind hand-carved motorcycles, a motorcycle enthusiast who logged thousands of miles, and an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending long lazy days on the lake, always with family and friends.
Also left to enjoy his life’s memories are John (Donna) Wood, Jody (Larry), Anita (Steven), Tyler, Jackie (Joe) Cogger, Angela (Nathan), Jenna, Jacob, Todd (Brenda), Reimer, Mathew, and Ashley; as well as many friends he considered his family.
A celebration of life was held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 (upstairs) in Fort Frances.
A tribute to Terry began at 1 p.m., followed by a luncheon.
Interment will take place at a later date.
