Tami Rae Morrison, 34, of Fort Frances, ON passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 in Thunder Bay, ON.
Tami was born on March 15, 1986 in Fort Frances. She enjoyed attending Pow Wows, hockey games and spending time with her family and friends. When she was a young girl she spent time with her Grandfather, camping, fishing and hunting.
She leaves behind her children Damion Morrison, Kayleigh Walton, Tianna Walton, Taneecha Leonard, Abagail Gosselin and Annabelle Gosselin; siblings Daniel Morrison, Kristen Boshey and Shyla Big George; aunts and uncles Dennis, Roger, David, Jeff, Sharon, Kim and Joyanne Morrison and Cory Sky; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Tami was predeceased by her parents Daniel Burnside and Darlene Morrison; partner Thomas Ryan Indian; grandparents Albert and June Morrison and Larry Burnside; aunt Shannon Morrison; uncles Albert Morrison Jr and Joe Burnside; cousin Jason Ottertail Jr.; and great-grandparents Claire and George Ottertail.
A traditional funeral ceremony was held on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in Lac La Croix First Nation with an Elder of Naicatchewin First Nation officiating.
The pallbearers were her family and friends.
