SUSANNA (SUSAN) NICOLE (HORTON) OSHIE

In loving memory of Susan (Horton) Oshie, 49, who passed away suddenly Monday, April 1, 2002 at Rainy River First Nation, Ont. She was born Sept. 12, 1952 in Harrow, London, England.
Susan will be greatly missed by her children, Tracy Ann Horton-Oshie, and Lionel Jeffrey Horton-Oshie and his wife, Rachel Ann Copenace; grandchildren, Kirsten Brianne Rae Horton and Payton Leigh Horton; mother, Lucyna Dimmock and Donald Eland of Fuengirola, Spain; sister, Lucyna (Lulu) Dimmock of London, England; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She also is survived by the Matchett and Payette families, with whom she shared three generations of love and joy.
She was predeceased by her father, Ernest Dimmock.
Susan treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and many friends. She enjoyed travelling the world, making crafts, travelling the Pow-Wow trail, and reading.
A wake will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2002 starting at 4 p.m. at the Rainy River First Nation Gymnasium.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2002 at 10 a.m. at the Rainy River First Nation Gymnasium. Deacon Elmer Mainville will officiate, with interment in the Manitou Rapids Cemetery in Rainy River First Nation.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Horton Sr., Douglas Horton Jr., Cameron Matchett, Gary Medicine, Craig Jourdain, and Justin McGinnis.
Honourary pallbearers will be Jean Bombay, Viola Medicine, Gwen Medicine, Kathie Jack, Sylvia Matchett, Elizabeth Payette, and Karen Chaboyer.
