It is great sadness that the family of Susan Joan Marr announces her passing on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Susan was born on June 4, 1954 in Fort Frances to the late Jack and Muriel Marr. She grew up in Fort Frances before adventuring into the United States for work.
She returned to Fort Frances when her health became a challenge to be closer to her family.
Susan had a quick wit and a quirky humour. She enjoyed watching sports, especially football, and could be found cheering for her Vikings all season. Susan became Barb’s caregiver later in life and they were very close.
She leaves behind her brother, Jim Marr and wife, Brenda; sisters, Peggy Adams, Barb Marr, and Sandra Marr; brothers-in-law, Tim Tucker, Eric Saranpaa, and Scotty MacDonald; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Susan was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Muriel; siblings, Jack, Judy, Wendy, Nancy, and Cathy; nieces, Aimee Adams and Tammy Adams; and great-niece, Mckalia Marr.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
