STELLA ANDRUSCO

It is with great sadness that the family announces that Stella Andrusco, 91, of 550 Osborne St., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
She was born April 18, 1914 in Rainy River, Ont. to the late Joseph and Rosalia Kingerski. At an early age, Stella, along with parents, moved to Fort Frances, where she has lived since.
On Sept. 1, 1931, she was united in marriage to Emil Andrusco.
Stella was a member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Fort Frances for many years. In later years, she also attended the Joy of Life Fellowship Church with her family.
She was an avid Bingo player, and loved cooking and baking for her family and friends.
She was predeceased by three children in infancy; three grandchildren, Gene, Todd, and Jana Lyn; three brothers, Walter, Adolph, and Nick; and one sister, Sophia.
Stella is survived by her three sons, Gene of California, Michael and wife, Helen, of Fort Frances, Ont., and Allan and wife, Patti, of Winnipeg, Man.; seven grandchildren, Lisa, David, Jana, Stephen, Michael, Benjamin, and Anthony; numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, John Kingerski and wife, Margaret, of Sudbury, Ont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Pastor Sandra McEvoy will officiate, with interment in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
Friends may visit prior to the service from 1 p.m. until service time.
The pallbearers will be David Andrusco, Stephen Andrusco, Benjamin Andrusco, Mark Kowalchuk, Freddie Beck, and Bob Klaas.
