With family and loved ones by his side, (John) Stanley “Stan” Zajac peacefully passed on February 22, 2024, at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital. Stan was born May 1, 1942, in Fort Frances Ontario.
Stanley was pre-deceased by his wife Eileen; father John; mother Doris; his brothers Gordon and Jerry; sister Irene; and nephew Keith; step-son Norman, step-grandson Gregory.
He is survived by his older brother Roy (Diane); nephews Jeff (Kathy), Robert (Lin), Greg (Connie) and niece Tracey (Bert); step-children Alice (Jim), Shiela (Alfred); step-grandchildren Greg, Blaine, Shannon, Michael and Melissa; his dear and loyal friends Rita, Colin, John and Tommy, Plummy, Randy, Rocky and sons.
As per Stan’s wishes a private family service will be held at a later date. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, 980 Oliver Rd, Thunder Bay, Ontario, P7B 6V4.
