Stanley (“Bert”) Livingston passed away peacefully at the Thompson General Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at the age of 66.
Bert was born Nov. 28, 1945 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Helen and Irvin Livingston.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol (Eldridge); three daughters, Wendy (Richard) Zurrin, Stacey Chene, and Stephanie (Daniel) Polski; and eight grandchildren, Courtney, Kelsey, Kaitlyn, Zak, Riley, Carter, Kayden, and Claire.
He also is survived by his brother, Dan (Carol) Livingston and his sister, Gail Fulford; his mother-in-law, Evelyn Eldridge; sisters-in-law, Natalie Livingston, Donna (Merv) Steele, Phyllis (Rick) Johnson, and Brenda (Larry) Funk; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bert was predeceased by his mother and father, Helen and Irvin Livingston,; brother, Jim; brother-in-law, Ralph Fulford; and father-in-law, Ed Eldridge.
He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all.
Bert was passionate about his work in the aviation industry and was respected by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
He always wore a smile and was an eternal optimist.
We will miss you, Dad.
A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the Thompson Pentecostal Assembly.
