SIMONE LUCILLE CARON

Simone Caron, 71, of 1606 Colonization Rd. W., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away suddenly on Monday, Sept. 27 in Fort Frances.
Simone was born in Ansonville, Ont. on Oct. 1, 1932, the fourth of 12 children, to Leon and Angelina Pepin.
She lived in Ansonville until the age of 36, at which time she married Marcel Caron and moved to Kapuskasing, Ont., and from there to Fort Frances in 1970. It was there they built their dream home and started a family.
Her greatest love in life was her family and friends. Her hobbies were bowling and baseball. For those left behind, we will remember her for her kindness and devotion.
Simone is survived by her husband, Marcel Caron of Fort Frances, Ont.; one son, Mark Caron and wife, Lori, and their children, Thomas and Amanda Caron, all of Fort Frances, Ont.; three sisters, Yvette Leblanc of Kapuskasing, Ont., Stella Emins of Barrie, Ont., and Gina Stigter of Bradford, Ont.; three brothers, Paul Pepin and Mary of Tiverton, Ont., Emilien Pepin of Bradford, Ont.; and Henry Pepin and wife, Laurie, of Restoule, Ont.; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Fernando, Leon, and Ivan; and two sisters, Rita and Noela.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Fort Frances, with Fr. Francis Pudicherry officiating.
Honourary pallbearers will be Henry Pepin and Emile Pepin.
