Sidney Bruyere passed away after a courageous battle with heart, diabetes, and kidney diseases on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Man.
He was born Feb. 22, 1947 in Fort Frances, Ont. to George and Bella Bruyere.

He was predeceased by his father, George; mother, Bella (Morrisseau); brothers, Marvin, Arnold, and Rudy; and sisters-in-law, Catherine, Maggie, and Lynn Bruyere.
Sid leaves behind his brothers, Sterling, Larry (Eileen), Douglas, Lyle (Joan), and Frank (Peggy) Bruyere; sisters, Shirley Sollen (Charles), Karen Chaboyer, and Lyla Bruyere; sisters-in-law, Shirley Bruyere and Myrtle Bruyere; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
