SHIRLEY MAE GADD

With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Shirley Gadd, 74, of Fort Frances, Ont., on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
Shirley was born in Shenston Township on Dec. 21, 1943 to Henry and Violet Ahrens.
She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Gadd on Aug. 25, 1982.
Shirley enjoyed her flower beds, bowling, travelling, and spending time with family. She was a member of the T.O.P.S. Club and the Birthday Club.
Shirley will be greatly missed by her husband, Bob; children, Corrinna (James) Cheyne, Maxinne (Phil) Gavel, Kevin Romyn, and Dwaine (Gail) Romyn; daughter-in-law, Vikki Gadd; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Brown and Ella (Lawrence) Desserre; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Violet; stepson, Martin Gadd; and siblings, Mervin, Otto, Mansel, Howard, Doraline, Myrtle, and Merveline.
A service of celebration and remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont., with Rev. Barbara Miller officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date.
