SHIRLEY IRIS KING

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Shirley Iris King, 89, of Fort Frances, Ont., on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
Shirley was born July 14, 1925 in Emo, Ont. to Charles and Renie Brigham. She was one of 15 children.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Dale (Gail) King of Melville, Sask., Diane (Bill) Albright of Fort Frances, Ont., Terry (Lori) King of Fort Frances, Ont., Janice (Cliff) Mundle of Fort Frances, Ont., and Tammy (Harold) Fulford of Calgary, Alta.; daughter-in-law, Diane King of Winnipeg, Man.; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her sisters, Elsie Skinner of Emo, Ont., Lucille (Joe) Cayou of International Falls, Mn., and Sylvia Hyatt (Tim) of Emo, Ont.; brother, Herb Brigham of Edmonton, Alta.; and sister-in-law, Cis McComb of Emo, Ont.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bill King in 1984; son, Richard in 1972; son, Dennis on Feb. 24, 2007; her parents; sisters, Dorothy Wilson (Roy), Ruby McDonald (Willard), Leila Hele (Marvin), Patricia McDonald (Ken), Evelyn Loveday (Herman), and Opal and Laura, who passed away in infancy; and brothers, Marvin Brigham (Ardelle), Milford Brigham (Marie Louise), and William Brigham.
A celebration of Shirley’s life and funeral reception will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Fr. Wayne McIntosh officiating.
A family graveside service and interment will be held at a later date.
