After a brave battle with cancer, Shae Michael Gray Hagarty passed away peacefully, with his family at his side and Obi Wan Kenobi on his shoulder, on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012.
He was born March 1, 1979.
Shae had a great fondness for computers and electronic gadgets, and for helping a lot of people with their computer problems.
He took pride in being a grouchy curmudgeon and had a low tolerance for stupidity, but he loved his family and friends dearly.
Shae is survived by his wife, Jo-Anne; children, Brinneal and Seamus; parents, Rick and Donna; mother-in-law, Jacqueline; sister, Shannon; sister-in-law, Chantal; grandparents, Betty and Alvin, and Michael and Dianne; nieces and great-nephew, Taya, Harley, Chiara, and Carter; and aunts and uncles, Dear Darling Deb, Kathy (Joe), Brian (James), and Michelle (Clayton).
He was predeceased by his cousin, Kara.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Rainy River Evangelical Covenant Church in Rainy River, Ont.
