SASHEEN REEVIS LINKLATER

Sasheen Reevis Linklater, 31, of Detroit, Mich., passed away unexpectedly in Detroit on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006.
Sasheen was born May 17, 1975 in Minneapolis, Mn. to Freda Perry (Linklater) of International Falls, Mn. and Joseph Spears of Minneapolis, Mn., who survive.
Also left to mourn her passing are her children, Lewis, Dacia, and Passion of Couchiching First Nation, Ont., and Cochise and Angela of the U.S.A.; her siblings, Walter Linklater, Adam Linklater, Alphonse Wayman, Emily Wayman, Dale Tolgoni Jr., Scott Tolgoni, and Robert Perry; grandmother, Maria Linklater; Aunt Jackie Linklater; and numerous cousins.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, Alphonse Linklater; her great-grandfather, Tom Linklater; her uncle, Joe Linklater; as well as numerous cousins.
Sasheen had worked as a day care provider. She enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball, and enjoyed her company with her family and friends.
A wake will be held Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006 from 4 p.m. at the Multi-Use Facility at Couchiching First Nation.
A traditional service will be held Friday, Dec. 22, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Multi-Use Facility at Couchiching First Nation.
Elder Gilbert Smith will conduct, followed by interment in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery at Couchiching First Nation.
The pallbearers will be Walter Linklater, Adam Linklater, Larry Linklater, Alphonse Wayman, Joe Belgarde, and Arnold Belgarde.
The honourary pallbearers will be her younger brothers, Dale Tolgoni Jr., Scott Tolgoni, and Robert Perry.
