Nault, Sandra

Sandra Faye Weston Nault, 65, passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at her home in Fort Frances, Ont.
She was born to Hildor and Mae Estella Weston in Baudette, Mn. on May 17, 1953 and grew up in South International Falls by the Holler School.
While attending Falls Senior High School, Sandra participated in the Girls Athletic Association (GAA) playing softball and volleyball. She proudly passed on her love of these sports to her daughter, Ashley.
Sandra graduated from Falls High School with the Class of 1971.
Sandra worked at Super One, formerly Piggly Wiggly, in the bakery through high school. She then found her niche in life when she started working in retail clothing. She worked at Stage, Penney’s, and The Hideaway. Sandra became an expert at finding the perfect outfit or accessory. Helping others to not only look good but feel great gave her great joy.
The former Sandra Weston was united in marriage to Daniel Nault on Nov. 8, 1978 by the Justice of the Peace in International Falls, Mn. They then made their home in Fort Frances.
Family time at the cabin, and travelling and snowmobiling was how most free time was spent. More recently, Sandra loved her lunch and dinner dates with friends and family, enjoyed retail therapy, reading, and “hitting the slots.” She also cherished her loving visits from her daughter, Ashley, and Kobe (her four-legged grandson), and extended Nault family.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents; husband, Dan Nault; and close companion, Steve Monrean.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Nault; sister, Karen (Gordy) Lindgren; and numerous other family members whose support over the years had meant the world to her.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, with visitation one hour prior to services.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in International Falls.
