Sadly, the family announces the passing of Sandra Ogier, 66, of Devlin, Ontario, on September 14, 2025, at the La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ontario.
Sandra was born on January 10, 1959, to parents Lawrence and Beatrice Loveday. She was united in marriage to Ron Ogier on May 2, 1975. They settled in Devlin and raised their family.
Sandra worked at numerous jobs over the years including Totem Resort, Arrowhead Camp, La Place Rendevous and Bonnie Blue to name a few. She enjoyed spending time with family and travelling when the opportunity arose.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ron; her children Ron Jr., Aaron (Chantelle); her grandchildren Kyle, Tristan, Dane, Dayton and Cedar; her brother Todd (Renee); sisters-in-law Autumn, Tammy, Joan, Joyce; brothers-in-law Harold and Allan; and Uncle Bob (Betty) Loveday and Aunt Laura (Mel, deceased) Haney; and numerous cousins.
Sandra was predeceased by her son Jason; parents Lawrence and Beatrice; her siblings Glen, Gary, Morris, Warren, Keith and Lindsey; her grandparents Ed and Anne Holborn and Mildred and Leonard Loveday; her in-laws Nicholas and Lillian Ogier; brothers-in-law Gary and Nicholas; sisters-in laws Phyllis, Patsy, Ruth, Dulcie and Yvonne.
A service of celebration and remembrance will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11 a.m. with interment to take place in Devlin Cemetery. Pastor Ken Johnson Officiating.
