It is with great sadness we announce the very sudden passing of Sandra Ann Jourdain. She was a long time resident of International Falls, Minnesota. She was born in Fort Frances, Ontario, to her mother Marlene Yerxa.
Sandra leaves behind her children Chelsey Blackjack (Travis) and Harley Grover (Farron French); her grandchildren Raina, Chauncey IV, Haven Grover and Kalistah, Travis, Lillith, Lunah and Dante Blackjack and her grand kitty Biizhew Grover; her father Robert (Chug) Yerxa (Barbara Johnson); her boyfriend Ronald Liljedahl; her uncles Louie Jourdain, Melvin Jourdain and Everett (EJ) Jourdain (Wendy Kratky); her aunts Evelyn Oliver, Victoria Topp, Wilma Wilson, Donna Perrault (William); along with numerous other extended family.
Sandra is predeceased by her son Chauncey Lyle Grover III; her mother Marlene Yerxa (Jourdain); her grandparents who raised her Moses and Regina Jourdain; her aunt Gladys Haney; her uncles Dewayne, Douglas, Kelvin and Bill Jourdain.
A traditional wake will take place on Thursday, December 22, at 3:00 p.m. at Couchiching Multi-use facility, followed by a traditional service on Friday, December 23, 10:00 a.m. Cremation to take place following the service.
