Sadie Paton Darvell, 86, of International Falls, Mn., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Society in International Falls.
She was born Sept. 6, 1930 to Alexander Paton and Sarah (Whyte) Bryan in North Regina, Sask.
She was united in marriage to James Frederick Darvell on Dec. 10, 1949.
Sadie was a homemaker and volunteered for the Ladies’ Auxiliary at Falls Memorial Hospital.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband; sister, Agnes Stuart; and brother, Andrew Bryan.
Sadie is survived by her children, Sherry (Tom) Breimhorst, Randy (Darlene) Darvell, and Jerry (Diane) Darvell; honourary children, Jill (Jim) Malone and Jenny (Lelande) Krzoska; and one granddaughter, Megan Darvell.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in International Falls.
Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Green-Larsen Mortuary in International Falls.
Interment will be at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in International Falls.
