It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Sachena Lynn Bob, 49, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, on October 13, 2025.
She was born on December 19, 1975, to parents Robert and Pauline Big George.
She had great sense of humour and a beautiful smile. She always enjoyed spending time with family and going to Onigaming for visits. She was often called Chrissy Snow from the show “Three’s Company” because of her personality and actions.
She will be greatly missed by her father Robert Bob; her husband Donald Cambly; her daughter Robyn (Kyle Benham); her sisters Salena, Sheila (Dave Carney) and Shantaya Paul.
She is also survived by her grandmother Bessie Tom; grandchildren Lyra Asham, Leya Asham, Rae-lyn Asham, Kyli Tuesday, Adrian Tuesday and James Benham; uncles and aunts James Bob, Rosanne Cowley (Jack Cowley), Roy (Jane) Tom, Colin Tom, Ron Tom, Abigail Halverson, Nikki Tom, Naomi Tom (Justin) and Alyson Tom; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Sachena was predeceased by her children Arizona, Shania, Sacha; her mother Pauline Big George; brother Clayton Bob; sisters Seyla Bob, Laura Lee Prince; grandfather Moses Tom and grandparents Rose and James Bob Sr.
A wake will be held at Onigaming Community Hall on Thursday, October 23, at 4:00 p.m. with a traditional service on Friday, October 24, at 10:00 a.m. with Elder Norman Cambell.
