It is with great sorrow the family of Russell James Angus announces his passing on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Rainycrest Long Term Care in Fort Frances, Ontario.
Russell was born Dec. 21, 1929 in Chapple Township, Ont., to Mildred and Leslie Angus.
Russell is survived by his loving wife, L. Grace Angus; his daughters, Grace Angus, Sandra (Don) Robertson, and his son, Mark (Allison) Angus; his grandchildren, Stephen (Cheryl) Robertson, Laura (Travis) Lichti, Jason (Michelle) Cain, Joanna Cain, Sarah Angus, and Aidan Angus; his great-grandchildren Nicholas Cain, Isabella Cain and Tyson Lichti.
Russell was predeceased by his son, Russell Raymond Angus; his parents, Mildred and Leslie Angus; and his brothers, John and Ellwood Angus.
Dad enjoyed his years of trapping, fishing, and hunting with his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, c/o Northridge Funeral Home, Box 89, Emo, Ontario, P0W 1E0.
Cremation has taken place and a time of fellowship will be held at the Fort Frances Royal Canadian Legion, on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
