RONALD LAURENCE SUTTON

Ronald Laurence Sutton, 66, of Fort Frances, Ont. passed away suddenly Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002 at his residence. He was born Jan. 28, 1936 in Barwick, Ont.
Ron had lived all his life in Rainy River District. In 1948, he moved to Fort Frances, where he had lived since. He had worked as operations manager with Rainy Lake Airways from 1957 until 1984.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 in Fort Frances.
Ron is survived by his three children, Shane and wife, Pam, of Fort Worth, Texas, Tammy and husband, Rob Burghardt, of Fort Frances, Ont., and Rochelle Gladu of Thunder Bay, Ont.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Jennifer and Sarah Sutton, Billy Jo and husband, Scott Chalupsky, Shelly, Ashley, and Rylee Burghardt, Daniel and Rachael Gladu, and Randall Roth; and two great-grandchildren, Finn and Zander Chalupsky.
Also surviving are six sisters and brothers, Elaine Jones of Fort Frances, Ont., Arthur Sutton and wife, Linda, of Winnipeg, Man., Bill Sutton and wife, Margaret, of Fort Frances, Ont., Jeannie Piekarski of Fort Frances, Ont., Barb and husband, Terry Ogden, of Fort Frances, Ont., and Jackie and husband, Ray Catton, of Barrie, Ont.; as well as aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Randy; parents, Laurence and Gladys; two brothers, Gerry and Bobby; and one sister, Lauris Ann Bunnell.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fort Frances, with Fr. Wayne McIntosh officiating.
The honourary pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great-grandsons.
