RONALD ALBERT HAVER

September 1, 1933 – October 9, 2025

Ronald Albert Haver passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the Emo Long Term Care Facility, at the age of 92.

Ronald is lovingly remembered by his daughter June Haver and her spouse Bruce Shaw, along with their daughters Ashley and Jen Shaw and their families, son Albert Haver and his wife June, and their daughters Brooklyn and Brianne, who held a very special place in his heart.

Ronald will be dearly missed by special nieces Valmarie Jantzen, Evelyn Sletmoen, and Harlene Lowey and their families; his sisters-in-law Irene Hill-Haver and Erna Haver and his step children Emily (Grant) Watson, Debbie (Ron) Chase, Jeanne Jewell and Dale Paterson (Mike).

Ronald was born in Eriksdale, Manitoba, to Frederick and Marie Haver and moved to Crozier with his family in 1947. He was a hardworking man throughout his life, Ronald held many roles including pulpwood cutter and, alongside his brother Norman, worked as a drywaller and stucco worker. He later retired from Resolute Forest Products. Never one to sit still, he continued his passion for farming well into retirement, raising beef cattle and growing various crops on his farm. Ronald found great joy in driving through the countryside, admiring the fields and farms of the Rainy River District and watching hours of his Western themed movies.

He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Marie Haver; his brothers Arnold (Marie), Leonard (Elvera), Norman, and Edward (Alma); his sister Nellie (Harley) Jerry; and stepson Fred Patterson.

A private graveside service will be held at Burriss Cemetery, where Ronald will be laid to rest.

He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love of the land, and deep devotion to his family.
