RODNEY ALPIN (BUZZ) McGAULEY

Born in Emo, Ont., and raised and educated in Barwick, Ont., Rodney met and married the love of his life and best friend, Marlene (McRitchie) of Fort Frances on March 30, 1963.
In his early years he was employed as a bartender at various local hotels and latterly by Saskatchewan Pool #6 as a grain inspector, retiring in 1995, following twenty six years of service.
Rodney is survived by his wife Marlene; daughter Tammy; two sons, Robert and Rodney; four grandchildren, Nickol, Jesse, Dayna, Lucritia; sister LaDonna Klem of Fort Frances; two brothers, Ralph (Doris) of Oakville, Ont., and Dennis (Lorraine) of Thunder Bay; brother-in-law, Darwin Mathewson of Thunder Bay.
Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Rodney was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Iris; sister, Marles Mathewson; daughter-in-law, Angel McGauley; brother-in-law, Fred Klem.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Ivany.
Interment will take place in Barwick at a later date.
