Sadly the family announce the passing of Robert Cranston Morison, 66, of Seine River First Nation at his residence on January 21, 2024.
Robert was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on February 7, 1957.
He worked at numerous jobs over the years including mining and oil exploration in British Columbia.
Later Robert moved to Fort Frances where he met Doreen Blackjack and they have been together for 51 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time in the outdoors.
He will be greatly missed by his partner Doreen; his daughter Selina Lewis; and his several grandchildren.
Robert was predeceased by numerous family members.
A wake will be held at the Seine River Gym on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. followed by a traditional service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the Seine River Gymnasium. Arrangements entrusted to Northridge Funeral Home Ltd., Emo, Ontario.
