Robert E. Hauffe, 79, of Lynn Haven, Fla., and Delavan, Wisc., and former owner and operator of Slippery Winds Resort of Ontario, died in Florida, August 4, 2006.
Robert bought the Slippery Winds Resort from Fran Fullerton in 1963 and operated it until 1986.
He is survived by two daughters, Georgia Hauffe of Florida and Paula Hauffe, two stepdaughters, Barbara Weaver and Brenda (Jim) Tibbetts, of Corona, Ca.; four grandchildren; and one brother, Harold.
Funeral services were Wednesday, August 9, 2006 in Delavan, Wis.
