It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Mark Bellamy, 69, of Devlin, Ont., on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019.
Richard was born on Aug. 14, 1949 in Emo, Ont. to Phillip and Peggy (Brown) Bellamy.
Richard was a major tinker! Nothing he loved more than getting his hands dirty working on some new project. If not tinkering, you would find him and Sharon out having a picnic or camping, or just driving around visiting.
On June 7, 1986, Richard married the love of his life, Sharon Kruzel, of International Falls, Mn.
His next love was music! He could pick up any instrument and play it. There was nothing he liked better than getting together with his uncle Bob and cousin Emily or whoever was available and just play music.
He also had a sense of humour and made good use of it. He always had a grin on his face when he was thinking up trouble and came out with something that always made you laugh or shake your head.
He lived a simple life and made do with what he had or could get his hands on.
Richard leaves to mourn his wife of 33 years, Sharon; brothers, Lawrence (Donna) of Atikokan, Ont., Bruce (Marilyn) of Devlin, Ont.; uncles, Robert J. Brown of Stratton, Ont. and Lawrence (Maxine) Brown of Stratton, Ont.; many cousins; and sisters-in-law, Alona (Ken) Kramer, Renee (Scott) Nelson, Judy (Robert) Lallum, and Karia (Robert) Lapinski, all of the U.S.A.
Richard was predeceased by his father, Phillip, and his mother, Peggy; numerous aunts and uncles; and his mother- and father-in-law, Ida and Herb Whidden.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
In memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice by cheque c/o Northridge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 89, Emo, Ont., P0W 1E0.
