It is with great sadness the family of Richard James Chabot announces his sudden passing on November 21, 2022, at the age of 42.
Richard was born on March 11, 1980, in Fort Frances, Ontario.
Life for Richard was always an adventure. He travelled throughout and lived in various cities across Canada, gaining new friendships, interests, and hobbies along the way. Richard was an avid skateboarder and loved to explore, living life to the beat of his own drum.
Amongst all his journeys, he was sure to have a good time. He was full of laughter and a maintained a true zest for life. Richard could find the brightness in any situation and was willing to do anything he could for those he loved.
He was truly charismatic, his eyes lighting up the room, drawing others in with his incredible sense of humour and bellowing laugh. He was welcoming and kind, sure to try to put others at ease, and leaving you with an impression that would last a lifetime.
He will be greatly missed by his children Reed, Angela (Jackie), and Bronson (Ange); his parents George Chabot and Patti Nicholas; his siblings Laura Rose (Tom, Ethan, Jersey) and Sairah Baird (Darcy, Analeigh, Gracelyn); and his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Richard was predeceased by his grandparents Fernand and Ann Chabot; grandparents Evelyn and Wilfred Nicholas; and his sister Jennifer Carlson; and his best friend and furry companion “D”.
