It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our daughter, granddaughter, sister, and niece, Rhiannah Leigh Amelia Ray Gosselin-Allen.
Rhiannah passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Man. with her parents and family surrounding her.
Rhiannah was born Nov. 30, 2009 in Fort Frances, Ont.
Although it was a very short time spent with our precious baby, we understood her personality very well. She knew what was comfortable and what wasn’t, and she wasn’t afraid to show it.
As much as she liked to snuggle with Mommy, her favourite position was to be cuddled up on Daddy’s chest, where both of them would sleep for hours.
Rhiannah loved to be wrapped firmly in her favourite purple blanky—where she knew she was safe and secure.
It was seldom that Rhiannah spent time lying down as she is dearly loved by many people whom could not get enough of her. Rhiannah also really enjoyed stories being read and songs being sang to her by Grandpapi (Warren).
Rhiannah is survived by her parents, Lindsey Allen and Tylar Gosselin; sisters, Shay Lynn Allen, Brooke Lynn Allen, and Savannah Allen; grandparents, Warren and Margaret Gosselin, Charlene Allan Norman and Lois Allen, Keith and Joanne Gosselin, Gordon and Bev Sisco, and Norman and Patricia Allan; great uncle, Terry Allan (Michelle); and great aunts, Sandra Gosselin, Dawn Sisco (James), Shelley Sisco, Shirley Allan (Ron), Tracy Pitremont (Rene), and Sandy Tuesday (Kevin).
Rhiannah also is survived by her aunties, Olivia Allan (Dwayne), Ashley Sisco, and Jessica Munn; uncles, Raymond Indian (Amanda), Roger Allen (Tonya), Edmund Allan, and Damien Allan (Bobbi); and numerous loving cousins.
Rhiannah was predeceased by her sister, Angel Allen; and her grandpa, Norman Allan Sr.
