Reginald R. Langford

Reginald R. Langford, 92, of 916 Victoria Ave. N., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away at Riverside Health Care Facilities in Fort Frances, on Monday, July 29, 2002.
He was born on June 28, 1910 in Fort Frances and lived here all his life. Reg was united in marriage to Ann Polyski on May 10, 1936, who later predeceased him on Sept. 2, 1985.
He was a member of St. John’s Anglican Church, and a lifetime member (50 years) of the Moose Club. He worked for the paper mill for 32 years until his retirement in 1974.
He was predeceased by his parents, Barny and Leonora; four brothers, Art, Bert, Shorty and Percy; and one sister, Olive Van Jura.
Reg is survived by his son, Bob Langford and daughter, Carol Langford both of Fort Frances, Ont., sister-in-law, Mary Mitchell of Fort Frances, Ont.,; niece, Kathy and husband, Gib Tucker of Fort Frances, Ont., and their boys, Gib Jr., Billy and A.J.; as well as other nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit Thursday evening, Aug. 1, from 7 until 9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ont.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ont., with Father Wayne McIntosh officiating. Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances, Ont.
The honourary pallbearers will be Gib Tucker, Bill Tucker, Gib Tucker Jr., A.J. Tucker, Ken Egan, Bill Michl and Ed Shepanski.
