It is with great sadness that the family of Randal (Randy) McTavish announced his passing on October 28, 2022, in Winnipeg, Man.
Randy was born on May 14, 1956, in Fort Frances and grew up on the family farm on McTavish Road. As a teenager, he started work at Fairway Store in Emo and continued until his retirement at Cloverleaf in 2020.
Randy is survived by his siblings Debra (Eugene), Murray, Shelley and Barbara (Shawna); and predeceased by his parents Don and Shannon McTavish.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo, Ontario. Interment will take place in the Devlin Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Randy`s nieces and nephews Michael, Matthew, Jennifer, James, Zack, Sage, Alexie and Sacha.
Honorary pallbearers are his great-nieces and nephews Mackenzie, Eric, Josh, Bryden, Nikki, Callie and Reese.
“Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.”
