Ralph Joseph Meshake, 58, of Thunder Bay, Ont., passed away quietly on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, with family by his side, in hospital in Thunder Bay, Ont.
Ralph was born June 2, 1954. He worked in various jobs throughout the district over his lifetime.
In earlier years, he was united in marriage to the former Julie Leonard. In recent years, he has lived in Thunder Bay.
Ralph loved his large collection of special T-shirts, of which each and all had special meanings to him. He was a very private, practical man but generous in helping people out anytime they needed a hand.
Ralph was hospitalized in the last year, and loved to joke with the residents and hospital staff all the time.
He will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.
Ralph is survived by his daughter, Violet, and husband, Jaysen Indian, of Big Island First Nation, Ont., and their children, Julianna, Kaitlyn, and Makayla.
A memorial service was held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ont., with Willie Wilson assisting.
