RALPH ALLAN HAGEN

Ralph Hagen, 79, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 at his residence in Emo, Ont.
Ralph was born on the family farm in Blackhawk, Ont. to the late John and Nora Hagen. He was one of 11 children.
He loved the outdoors, and enjoying hunting and trapping. His fondness for old-time country music also will always be remembered.
Ralph worked for many years as a diamond driller for Long Year Drilling and George Armstrong Construction.
Ralph was united in marriage to Mary Larson on July 24, 1954, and together they resided in Blackhawk and raised their family.
Ralph will be lovingly remembered by his children, Shirley (Larry) Allen of Barwick, Ont., Marilyn (Dave) Tatlock of Winnipeg, Man., Cliff (Cheryl) Hagen of Blackhawk, Ont., Wanda (Conrad) LaBelle of Barwick, Ont., Lori-ann (Jean) Theriault of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Kevin (Tina) Hagen of Blackhawk, Ont.
He also will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Trevor (Irina), Shauna (Derek), Christopher, Allison, Crystal (Ryan), Justin, Amanda, Travis, Tyler, Melissa, Samantha, Miranda, Dustin, Savana, Travis, Dylon, James, and Jessie; and great-grandchildren, Jane, Clara, Nadine, Santana, Cole, Terrell, Garrett, and Madison.
Ralph also is survived by his sisters, Luella Hoskin and Myrtle Loveday; brother, Walter (Grace) Hagen; and many nieces and nephews.
Ralph was predeceased by his wife, Mary (1996); sons, Kenneth (1992), Stanley (1996), and Allan (2004); granddaughter, Jolene Allen (1975); brothers, Earl, Norman, Lloyd, James, and Edward Hagen; and sisters, Bella Jewell and Lottie Halvorsen.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont., with Pastor Joe Orr officiating.
Interment will take place in Barwick Cemetery in Barwick, Ont. at a later date.
