Polly Kingerski passed away peacefully, at the age of 94, on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at the Eagle Park Health Centre Facility in Qualicum Beach, B.C.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sandy Thompson of Qualicum Beach, B.C. and Donna Suski of Vernon, B.C.; son, Lanny (Barb) Kingerski of Winnipeg, Man.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Polly was predeceased by her husband, Adolphe, on Oct. 16, 1995.
Mom and Dad resided in Fort Frances, Thunder Bay, and Sudbury, Ont., then moved to Parksville, B.C. in 1978 after Dad’s retirement in 1977.
Mom’s passion was her family, cooking/baking (cabbage rolls were the best), and gardening. She loved her candy, chocolates, and ice cream.
Mom’s beautiful smile was magnetic to everyone she met.
At Mom’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
