PHYLLIS MARIE KREGER

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Phyllis Marie Kreger announceS her passing on Monday, July 21, 2014 in her 85th year.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Gary (Nibs) and Cheryl Kreger of Rainy River, Ont., and their children, John and Diana of Thunder Bay, Ont., Dustin and Melissa of Rainy River, Ont., Jeff and Melanie of Stratton, Ont., Christopher and Racine of Grand Prairie, Alta., Sam, and Ron of Rainy River, Ont.; daughter, Leona and Raymond King of Rainy River, Ont., and their children, Devon and Shawn Bruyere of Fort Frances, Ont., Jason and Sam of Fort Frances, Ont., and Jaime Peterson of Winnipeg, Man., and their father, Richard Peterson; daughter, Susan Bolan of Fort Frances, Ont., and her children, Adam and Kelly of Fort Frances, Ont. and Katie and Aaron of St. Cloud, Mn.; and daughter, Shirley and Jeff Galloway of Stratford, Ont., and their children, Olivia and Greg of St Marys, Ont., Matthew and Somer of Stratford, Ont., Dawn Kreger of Fort Frances, Ont. and Debbie Kreger-Johnson of Rainy River, Ont. and their mother, Marie Kreger, Michael and Lori Kreger of Balmertown, Ont., Jennifer and Rob of Vita, Man., and their mother, Eva, and Angela and Garret, Leanne and Erkki of Edmonton, Alta.; and 34 great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by her brother, Leonard and Millie Ricci of Rainy River, Ont. and Earl and Liz Ricci of Penticton, B.C.; and sister, Margaret and John Peterson of Rainy River, Ont.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Don (1980); daugther, Dawn Marie (1961); sons, Lynn (1998), Jim (2001), and Tom (2003); granddaughter, Taylor (1992); and sisters, Shirley and George Bell, Lois and John Helder, and Ernie Brusvin and Roy Moen.
Mom’s greatest joy was her family and she enjoyed the simple pleasures of having a coffee on the deck with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and watching the birds.
She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Her wonderful sense of humour on any given day would always make you smile.
Phyllis, you always said it like it was. Love ya.
