It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Ann Ulrich announces her sudden passing on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 in Naicatchewenin First Nation, Ont.
Phyllis was born on Sept. 6, 1962 in Fort Frances, Ont. to George and Dolly Councillor. She worked for the Naicatchewenin First Nation band for many years.
She enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Phyllis was an outgoing person who had a natural ability to make people laugh. She was a kind soul who was willing to help out anyone.
She leaves behind her husband, Donald; children, Nathaniel Councillor, Riel Councillor (Kristen), Lynnette Vogel (Jeremy), and George Councillor (Courtney); and grandchildren, Tyrell, Nate, Taytum, Boden, Taylor, Avalee, Jasper, Kato, Brexton, and Leighton.
She also is survived by her brothers, Gary Councillor (Lisa) and Darryl Councillor (Sharon); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, George and Dolly, and sister, Geraldine Courchene.
A vistiation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 at 9 a.m. at the Naicatchewenin First Nation gymnasium, with Gilbert Smith officiating.
The honourary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
