Phillip Laverdure, 83, of 601 Little St., Rainy River, Ont., passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 2, 2002 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church in Rainy River, with Fr. James Panikulam officiating.
Parish prayers will be offered Friday, Sept. 6, 2002 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church in Rainy River.
Should family and friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Box 573, Rainy River, Ont., P0W 1L0.
