PHILLIP COLIN WHITEFISH

Phillip Whitefish, 16, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 in Fort Frances, Ont.
Phillip was born Nov. 18, 1988 in Fort Frances and attended Donald Young and Sturgeon Creek schools. In September, 2004, Phillip attended Fort Frances High School and enjoyed being among his many friends there.
Phillip often could be seen at his favourite table in the cafeteria that afforded him the best view of everything and everyone around him.
Phillip loved to listen to country music and opera, and had a trip planned to see the opera this spring. He loved little babies and gladly would take them for rides on his lap. Many babies slept peacefully while Phillip held them.
He took great pride in being the big brother and baby-sitter.
Phillip was known by many in the community and at school for his kind heart and thoughtfulness toward others. His loss will be felt by many.
Left to mourn Phillip are his family and caretakers, Glen and Marina Bauman, Lisa Whitefish, Gary Councillor, Tiffanie Whitefish, Tristan Whitefish, Logan Bauman, Milissa Klemmenson, Sue Klemmenson, and Tiffany Maki; and many grandparents, cousins, and extended family.
Services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo, Ont., with Pastor Andrew Hall officiating. Interment will be in the Emo Cemetery at a later date.
Pallbearers will be Tiffanie Whitefish, Jason Peters, Krista Smith, Becky Georgeson, Milissa Klemmenson, and Andrew Friesen.
Honourary pallbearers will be Tristan Whitefish, Logan Bauman, Tiffany Maki, and Tim Rosengrem.
If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made through Green Funeral Home to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada.
