In loving memory of Paul Kitzul, 80, of Fort Frances, Ont., who passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2000 at his home.
Paul was born June 12, 1920 in Insinger, Sask. He worked as a shift boss at the mine in Lynn Lake, Man. After retiring, he and his wife Lina, moved to Fort Frances, settling in their house on Second Street.
In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, and spending time outdoors.
He was predeceased by his wife Lina, on April 1, 1987; brothers, Mike, Elmer, Dan, George, Fred, and Bill; and sister-in-law, Mary.
Paul leaves behind his daughter, Joyce Saunders of North Bay, Ont.; grandson, Brett Saunders of Lake Louise, Alta.; brother, John (Helen) Kitzul of Calgary, Alta.; sister, Margaret (Jerry) Butler of Nanaimo, B.C.; brother, Harry (Adele) Kitzul of Nanaimo, B.C.; sisters-in-law, Mary, Ann, Nellie, Margaret, and Helen; cousins, Harry (Doreen) Kitzul of Fort Frances, Ont., and Elmer Kitzul of Theodore, Sask.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000 at Green Funeral Home from 7 until 8 p.m., with prayers being said at 7:30 p.m.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Father Eugene Whyte O.M.I. will officiate, with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Frances.
Pallbearers will be Paul’s brothers and nephews.
